Hair
Hair grows all over your body, in places such as your scalp, face, arms, legs, and others including ones that are not appropriate for this presentation.
Your hair grows from under your skin, from the hair root(follicle). The hair root is found in the sebaceous gland, which makes an oil called sebum that coast the skin's surface.
FUN FACT: Like your nails, hair is dead.
Hair is made up of the body protein keratin, just like the nails. Like the skin, dark hair contains melanin. White hair contains air bubbles. There are three types of hair, curly, wavy, and straight(see photos above). Under a microscope, curly hair appears square in shape, wavy hair appears oval, and straight hair appears circular. The average scalp hair lives three years before it falls out and replaces itself.
